Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Mission Dance Complex LLC ("7-8," "we," "us") for your use of the 7-8 app and 78dance.com. By using 7-8 you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
Accounts
You sign in with a phone number you control. Keep your phone and account secure, and give accurate information. Team access is by invitation only. A Leader decides who can join a team and which dances each person can see, and can change or remove that access.
Your content
You own the videos, music, feedback, and other content you upload. You give us permission to store, process, and stream that content only as needed to run 7-8 and show it to the people you or your team have authorized. You're responsible for having the rights to what you upload, including choreography and music. Don't upload anything you don't have permission to share.
Acceptable use
- Treat dancers, especially young dancers, with respect. Harassment, bullying, and inappropriate content are not allowed.
- Don't try to see, copy, or share content you aren't authorized for, or share another dancer's videos or feedback outside 7-8.
- Don't use 7-8 to contact a minor privately outside the app's recorded features.
- Don't interfere with the app, reverse engineer it, or use it for anything unlawful.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules or put others at risk. You can report a problem anytime at wdryden5@gmail.com.
Mini Lessons
- Coaches are independent and set their own plans, prices, capacity, and response times. 7-8 provides the platform and payment processing and keeps a platform share of each purchase.
- Coaches must be adults and complete our verification. A coach gets access only to the clips sent to them, and only for the service period.
- Plans include a fixed number of Mini Lessons per billing period. Unused lessons roll over for one month while your plan is active. Plans renew automatically until canceled. Canceling keeps your access through the end of the paid period, and completed lessons stay available to you afterward.
- Purchases for dancers under 18 must be approved by a connected parent or guardian.
- If a Mini Lesson isn't delivered, contact us and we'll make it right, including a refund where appropriate.
Disclaimers
Dance carries a risk of injury. Feedback on 7-8, including from coaches, is instructional guidance, not medical advice. Practice safely and within your ability. 7-8 is provided "as is," and we don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, 7-8 is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you haven't paid us anything.
Ending your use
You can stop using 7-8 and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or to protect other users.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. If changes are material, we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Apple
If you downloaded 7-8 from the App Store, these terms are between you and Mission Dance Complex LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
